Tree Service in Nuevo, CA

Nuevo is a rural community east of Lake Perris and the city of Perris, and tree service there usually means working across more ground than a typical tract yard. The area covers about 6.8 square miles of rocky, rolling hills and low valleys, with roughly 1,919 homes in 2020. On land too rough or rocky to mow, the ordinance lets the county require or allow other ways to remove the growth. Nuevo's natural cover is mostly coastal sage scrub, though much of it in the lowlands has given way to homes and farm use. Scrub on a hillside behind a house is still fuel. Thinning it, removing dead plants and keeping wide gaps between shrubs makes the slope far less likely to carry fire up to your home, without stripping it bare.

Large trees on open lots

Big eucalyptus, pepper trees and old windbreaks turn up on plenty of rural parcels. When one of them is dead or splitting, the removal is a bigger job than a backyard tree: more wood, longer drop zones and sometimes no truck access to the base.
